Every summer, The LEGO Group releases one the largest collections of new sets. 2022 is no different. This is the LEGO Group’s 2022 collection. Time is everything we’re getting a collection of all-new LEGO Star WarsSets to go with the latest Nintendo products, such as celebratory 90th anniversary creations, Marvel builds, and other display-worthy marvel builds. The following list contains all the new LEGO sets for summer 2022.

August 2022: A guide to buyers of new LEGO sets

It’s finally here! The biggest LEGO wave of the year has arrived and we’re diving into all of the new kits. Including everything from the year’s most detailed and display-worthy models to smaller kits and all the models that fall in-between, you’ll find just about all of the most popular themed covered, too.

The following sets will go live on August 1st at midnight EST. We’re just publishing a bit early to make sure you have some time to look over and plan out which new LEGO sets are going to be added to your cart once everything does go live.

August 2022: Brand New LEGO Sets

Star Wars

Star Wars is a very popular theme. The new LEGO sets for the summer 2022 are a great example of this. With seven all-new creations now available for purchase, you’ll find everything from builds inspired by the latest live action Disney+ shows to animated series and more. We have already provided a breakdown of what to expect from each set. LEGO Star Wars lineup, which you can check out for a better idea of values and what’s included.

Another theme that is eye-catching is the August 1 launch of some new LEGO sets. The Marvel summer wave does not have the largest collection of LEGO sets but it is the most comprehensive. We have already covered all three LEGO sets including the value and what to expect.

90th anniversary

The LEGO Group celebrates its 90th Anniversary. For the special occasion, we’re getting a pair of all-new creations inspired by old school kits from Classic themes. The first and largest build of this year is the new Lion Knights’ Castle. The impressive 4,514 costs included in this massive medieval creation are staggering. The LEGO Group has created a detailed castle facade and furnished interior that will allow 22 LEGO minifigures access to it. It is well worth it. $399.99 Price tag.

The futuristic approach to LEGO is just as timeless. Galaxy Explorer can also be redesignedAn old set. This $99.99BuildThis ship stacks up to the bigger version launched decades earlier. It also comes equipped with four minifigures. Although the original design was updated to allow modern LEGO building techniques, I still love the classic cues.


As far as what the Creator 3-in-1 series has in store for builders come August, the summer 2022 lineup is returning to a classic LEGO theme; sort of, at least. The LEGO theme is a reinterpretation the 2005 Vikings theme. Set of Midgard Serpent and Viking Ship stacks up to 1,192 pieces and assembles one of the most detailed longships we’ve seen in LEGO form to date.

You can also create two additional models with the bricks. This will allow you to fulfill the Creator 3-in-1 branding. Both models are Viking-themed. This month’s LEGO Icons lineup includes a brand new set straight from the retro gaming world. In the 1980s, the original Atari 2600 first appeared on the gaming scene. a brick-built rendition It contains 2,532 pieces. The console is life-size and comes with a joystick. Some side builds are also available. In the LEGO cartridges, you can also find small vignettes of Asteroids Adventure and Centipede. It will be available to purchase right now. Set you back $239.99.

Or if you’re more of a sports car fan, the LEGO Group is also releasing a new Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for August 1. 9to5Toys first reportedHere are some things you can expect when you purchase one of these brick-built vehicles. The kit now comes in 1,458 pieces.

The new Camaro Z28 measures 14 inches in length. It features a black colorway and interchangeable racing stripes. It is filled with authentic details as fine as the fuzzy dive in its rearview mirror. The Camaro Z28’s iconic design makes it more affordable at $169.99.


The August LEGO sets are available alongside the Atari 2600. The latest Super Mario kit wave includes nine creations. Ranging from the newest Starter Course set with just-released electronic Peach figure to expansion packs for building out a Mario level and blind bag enemy figures, there’s plenty of icons from the video game up for grabs this time around.

Disney technically covers Star Wars, Marvel, and Star Wars sets. But there is one set that is inspired by the most magical places on Earth. As a follow up to last year’s Disney Castle, another iconic ride is getting the brick-built treatment with the Haunted Mansion – New. This 680-piece set features an Architecture-style design, which recreates the park monument’s signature exterior and incorporates cutaways into its interior.

The set’s most exciting feature is undoubtedly its minifigure. The exclusive inclusion of the set brings one of the ride’s butlers into LEGO form for the first time. He has quite the interesting design, even if a little basic, but really nails the classic cues that you’d expect from the Haunted Mansion. You can now add the LEGO Mini Haunted mansion to your Disney collection. For $39.99.


2022 will see another Wonders of the World in Architecture on the LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO line-up. This time, the 2022 will be representing Egypt. new Great Pyramid of Giza set stacks up to 1,476 pieces. Speed Champions

The new LEGO sets for the summer are now on sale Speed Champions fans. After the August lineup was without any new kits for a while, there are now two new models in the August lineup. These two models are different from the usual additions. These two iconic vehicles were inspired by pop culture.
